Tour de Yankton November Virtual Hiring Event

 

PIERRE, S.D. –  The Department of Labor and Regulation, in partnership with Yankton Thrive and Riverfront Broadcasting, is sponsoring a virtual Tour de Yankton Area Hiring Event on Tuesday, Nov. 14, from 2-5 p.m. CST.

 

This virtual hiring event is designed to allow job seekers to visit online with employers in the Yankton area to learn about their companies and job openings, and potentially interview the same day.

 

Participating businesses can build brand awareness, find an untapped pool of qualified candidates, benefit from real-time interactions with potential employees, and save time and money finding qualified employees.

 

Registration is required for both job seekers and businesses. Go to dlr.sd.gov/virtual-job-fairs.aspx, find the Tour de Yankton event, and click on the appropriate registration link.

 

Businesses and job seekers may register up to the day of the event. Registering in advance will provide opportunities to review user guides offered within the virtual platform prior to the event.

 

A Company/Recruiter Training Session will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 2 p.m. CDT to walk employers through how to build their booth. Details on the session will be provided after registering.

 

The next Tour de Yankton recruiting and hiring event will be hosted as a virtual event on Tuesday, Jan. 14, from 1-4 p.m. CST.

 

Tour de Yankton is a no-cost event offered to businesses and job seekers.
