Name Released in Clark County Fatal Crash

Clark County, S.D. – A Fargo, ND man died Saturday, March 21 from a single vehicle crash on Tuesday, March 17, four miles east of Willow Lake.
 
Preliminary crash information indicates that David John Wosick, the driver of a 2019 Volvo semi hauling a concrete beam, was traveling eastbound on SD Highway 28. When the vehicle slowed for a stop sign at the intersection at SD Highway 25, the concrete beam shifted forward into the cab, pinning the driver.

Wosick was transported to a Sioux Falls hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died from the injuries sustained in the crash on Saturday, March 21.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is preliminary.

The Highway Patrol is an agency of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
