Lawrence & Schiller TeleServices Expanding to North Sioux City

NORTH SIOUX CITY, S.D. – Lawrence & Schiller TeleServices announced today it will be opening a second center in South Dakota. Through continued growth with current partners, and new business opportunities, the expansion of a second center was deemed necessary to accommodate the company’s continued growth.

“It’s encouraging when a company is able to invest and grow within our state’s borders, and a testament to South Dakota’s stellar business climate. Lawrence & Schiller TeleServices is a reputable company that has been creating jobs in Sioux Falls for years and I’m pleased to hear they will be adding 50 full-time jobs in North Sioux City,” said Gov. Dennis Daugaard.

After looking at seven different communities throughout South Dakota, the company decided on North Sioux City because of the hiring opportunities in the community and a “turn-key” space. L&S TeleServices is moving into a 4,000-square-foot space and will fill 50-100 positions this summer, with opportunity to grow beyond that. The Governor’s Office of Economic Development assisted the company with their South Dakota site search.

“Over the past 28 years, our partners from around the United States have seen the value in utilizing our team for their customer service needs,” said L&S TeleServices chief sales and marketing officer Joel Sylvester. “The second location will make sure we are large enough to meet all of our clients’ needs, but small enough to give them the custom interaction that they deserve. As we grow into this new market, we are excited to invest in the future of the North Sioux City community.”

According to Troy Holt, COO, L&S TeleServices, the company began the recruiting process for the second center on Monday, July 6, with the first training class on July 27. The first calls will be coming into the new center on Aug. 3.

About Lawrence & Schiller TeleServices: Craig Lawrence and Paul Schiller founded Lawrence & Schiller TeleServices, also founders of the marketing firm Lawrence & Schiller. The two sold their interest in the marketing company in 2012, but retained ownership of the call center, which currently employs 200.
