Gov. Rhoden to Visit Mud Butte, Faith, and Aberdeen on Open for Opportunity Tour

PIERRE, S.D. – On Monday, Governor Larry Rhoden will visit Mud Butte, Faith, and Aberdeen on his Open for Opportunity tour.

In Mud Butte, the Governor will honor the Stomprud Angus Ranch as the winner of the 2025 South Dakota Leopold Conservation Award. Governor Rhoden is proud of the strong, commonsense farmers and ranchers who work hard to preserve our precious ag land for future generations.

Governor Rhoden will highlight several businesses in Faith who have benefitted from our state’s open opportunities, including Keffler Kreations. Keffler Kreations began as a small endeavor that fulfilled the love of shopping and has grown into a hub that serves the community in a variety of ways.

He will also tour Iron Horse Ag Services, which is a mechanic and cement shop that manufactures concrete watering tanks. Before leaving Faith, he will stop by Sue the T-Rex.

As a lifelong West River rancher, the Governor will never turn down a good rodeo. He looks forward to attending the Brown County Fair’s Dacotah Bank Stampede Rodeo to finish off the day.
