Gov. Rhoden Invites Families to Attend Easter Egg Hunt

PIERRE, S.D. – On Sunday, Governor Larry Rhoden will host the 72nd annual Pierre Elks Lodge Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, from 1:00 PM (CT) – 2:00 PM (CT), at the Governor’s Residence in Pierre.

“Easter is a special time for us to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior,” said Governor Larry Rhoden. “Sandy and I are excited to spend time with you all as you meet the Easter Bunny, hunt for Easter eggs, and celebrate the holiday with friends and family.”

Children up to the age of 12 are encouraged to participate in the hunt, but all family members are invited to attend. Families can begin arriving at the Governor’s Residence as early as 12:30 PM (CT).
