Gov. Rhoden and GFP to Kick-Off Blue Dog State Fish Hatchery Fundraising

PIERRE, S.D. – Tomorrow, Governor Larry Rhoden and the Department of Game, Fish & Parks (GFP) will kick-off a fundraising campaign to support Blue Dog State Fish Hatchery. The kick-off will take place at Forsberg City Park in Watertown on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 9:00 am CT/8:00 am MT.

As part of the kick-off, GFP will stock Forsberg city pond. Families and community members are welcome to attend the event and go fishing in the freshly stocked pond! GFP staff will be present, and a select number of rods will be available.
