Governor Kristi Noem today ordered flags at the South Dakota State Capitol to be flown at half-staff from 8am until sunset on Friday, February 8, 2019, to honor the life of former state legislator Carol Fitzgerald of Rapid City. 

Fitzgerald served in the State House of Representatives from 1993 to 2000.

A memorial service for Fitzgerald will be held on Friday, February 8, at 11am at Rimrock Evangelical Free Church in Rapid City.
