PIERRE, S.D. – A Tripp County bridge project, being administered by the South Dakota Department of Transportation, is scheduled to begin on Sept. 6.
The county will be closing the Millboro Bridge in Tripp county over the Keya Paha River on county road 6301 (310th Avenue) near Millboro.
The contractor will begin removal of the old structure on Sept. 6, at which time the road will be closed to all traffic. The new bridge is expected to be open to traffic by mid-November of 2016.
The prime contractor on this $821,640.50 project is Corr Construction Services, Inc. of Hermosa.
The overall completion date is Dec. 2.
