USDSU Offers Financial Aid Assistance

SIOUX FALLS (Nov. 18, 2005) - USDSU Sioux Falls recently established a position to provide new services to students in the area of financial aid. This position is responsible for helping students understand and navigate all aspects of the financial aid process from application through delivery of funds.

Mr. Walter Goodwin joined USDSU on Oct. 17 and will work with students in the areas of financial aid as well as with prospective students who are exploring their higher education options. Mr. Goodwin was most recently employed by Augustana College in Sioux Falls.

“The growth of USDSU from a campus that served exclusively part-time students to a campus that serves a much broader group of students resulted in an obvious need for new financial aid student services. Walter will fill this need,” said Mark Lee, executive dean.

USDSU is a partnership campus of The University of South Dakota, South Dakota State University and Dakota State University that served 3,372 individual students in the 2005 academic year.
