State Fair Seeking South Dakota Companies
 
(Huron, SD) -- The 2006 South Dakota State Fair will give our finest South Dakota-owned businesses the opportunity to showcase and promote their products. The Dakota Flavor Marketplace will be held Friday, September 1 – Monday, September 4. The event will be held in the Dakota Market Place building, originally designed to showcase South Dakota companies and now returning to its original purpose.
 
The Dakota Flavor Marketplace will highlight a different type of product each day of the Fair.
  • Friday, September 1 – Art Marketplace (such as Fine Art, Jewelry, Pottery)
  • Saturday and Sunday, September 2 – 3 – Dakota Flavor Marketplace (such as Agricultural Products, Food Products, Producers, Processors)
  • Monday, September 4 – Culture/Heritage Marketplace (such as Agri-tourism, Direct Produce Marketers, Hutterite Colonies, Native American companies)
 The State Fair is looking for South Dakota companies who are interested in exhibiting, selling, and/or sampling their products at the fair. This four-day event is open to all South Dakota-owned companies with products made in the state.
