Goldstar Amusements Named As New Carnival for South Dakota State Fair

(Huron, SD)- The South Dakota State Fair is proud to announce that Goldstar Amusements of Minneapolis, Minnesota will be the new carnival operator at the 2005 South Dakota State Fair.

“We are extremely pleased that we were able to get a contract with Goldstar Amusements.” commented Susan Hayward, South Dakota State Fair Manager, “Goldstar Amusements is very well respected in the industry and known for operating a clean and safe midway. They have a wonderful carnival that will offer a wide variety of rides including extreme and spectacular rides—kids of all ages will love them!” 

Goldstar Amusements is owned and operated by Mike and Connie Featherston. Mike and Connie have a combined 50 years of experience planning and managing in the carnival industry. Over the past 10 years they have built a reputation of creating an atmosphere where children are safe and families can enjoy themselves.

The 2005 South Dakota State Fair will be held September 3-10.
