Huron Tree & Shrub Care Workshop

If you are interested in learning more about tree and shrub care, you won’t want to miss this. Huron homeowners, landscapers, tree care professionals, and anyone interested in tree and shrub care are encouraged to attend a free workshop focusing on tree and lawn care Wednesday, April 6 in Huron. The workshop will begin at 6 p.m. at the Beadle County Extension office, located on the State Fairgrounds. Speakers will include Aaron Kiesz, urban forestry specialist and Nathan Kafer, forester.

The workshop will focus on proper pruning and planting of trees and shrubs, tree diversification, and general urban forestry.

The workshop is sponsored by the South Dakota Department of Agriculture-Resource Conservation and Forestry Division and Beadle County Cooperative Extension.
