Ernest Longoria, of Elbow Lake, Minnesota is in the Brookings County Jail on three kidnapping charges, one criminal conduct charge, and one domestic abuse charge for violating a no contact order. 

 

He is accused of tying up, raping, and abducting a teenage girl from Donnelly, Minnesota.

 

A South Dakota Highway Patrol Trooper arrested Longoria Monday afternoon along I-29 in Brookings County. The trooper was alerted to the vehicle Longoria was driving, after Longoria’s passenger asked a person at a rest area in Deuel County to call police. 

 

The teenage girl in the car told the trooper that Longoria had taken her from her home in Donnelly, to Elbow Lake, and that he intended to take her to Texas.

 

Longoria is wanted in Minnesota for violation of release conditions.       

 

The South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation and the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office continue to investigate the situation.
