Reminder About Black Hills Deer Application Deadline

PIERRE, S.D. – Black Hills deer hunters are reminded that the first Black Hills deer application deadline is just a few days away.

"Paper applications must be postmarked no later than Friday, July 8 to have an application accepted for the first drawing," said Game, Fish and Parks License Office Supervisor Scott Simpson. "Online applicants have up to midnight on Monday, July 11, to apply by computer with a MasterCard or Visa."

To apply online, one should go to the GFP website at www.sdgfp.info, hold their cursor over the subheading "Licenses and Reservations," then click on the link to "Apply For Limited Issue Licenses." Paper application can also be printed or viewed from another link that appears when holding a computer cursor over "Licenses and Reservations."
