STATE PARKS SPORT SHOW BOOTH TO FEATURE INFORMATION, OFFICIALS

PIERRE – Outdoor enthusiasts planning to attend the annual Liebelt RV/Camper Show in Aberdeen March 20-28 can get the department’s latest publications and visit with South Dakota state parks personnel.

Throughout the show, visitors will be able to pick up a copy of the division's free publications, such as the 2004 Park Times, the Bird Watching Guide, and the State Parks Bicycle Tours, as well as information on volunteering and the area parks. In addition, staff members will be available both weekends of the show, March 20-21 and 27-28, to answer questions and sell park entrance licenses. The new Campground Map Book and the State Park Trail Atlas will also be available for purchase.

"Visitors will have the chance to get our new publications, buy their park entrance license, or visit with our staff," said Emilie Miller, information specialist with the Division of Parks and Recreation. "It's a great opportunity to find out what has been happening in South Dakota's state parks and what's coming up this summer."

The Liebelt RV/Camper Show will be held March 20-28 inside the Expo building at the Brown County Fair Grounds. The show features outdoor-related information and products. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. everyday except on Sunday March 21 and 28, which are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information on the show, please call (605) 225-8400.
