More South Dakota Air National Guard Members Activated

Sioux Falls, SD -- Members of the South Dakota Air National Guard continue to be activated as part of the United States military response to recent global threats. Another small team of guardmembers departed Sioux Falls this afternoon aboard a commercial flight with a final destination of a classified base in the Middle East. The guardmembers were activated earlier this week arriving at Joe Foss Field to complete the required activation and pre-deployment actions. Specific numbers of personnel, military specialties and final destination are not being released due to security and privacy concerns.
