DOT to Inspect Old Chamberlain Bridge
CHAMBERLAIN -- South Dakota Department of Transportation engineers will begin inspecting the old Chamberlain Bridge later this month. The work is scheduled to start on March 29 and could last until April 24. It's a major inspection to determine whether the bridge's foundation is sound.
At times during the inspection, the bridge will be limited to one lane of traffic. Flaggers will help direct drivers, but the DOT encourages people to use the I-90 bridge whenever possible.
