Minnesota Street Closured at SD Highway 79 

            RAPID CITY – The Department of Transportation has announced plans to close Minnesota Street at S.D. Highway 79 to traffic on Monday, May 24 as part of the Southeast Connector project.

            There will be no access to Minnesota Street from Highway 79. Minnesota Street traffic will need to use alternate routes. Highway 79 traffic will be reduced to two lanes with slower speed limits.  The closure is expected to last approximately one month.
