Work To Begin on Interstate 90 Between

 Mount Vernon and Plankinton

Mitchell, S.D. – Work is scheduled to begin the week of June 14 on concrete removal and concrete paving in the east bound lanes from MRM 309 near Plankinton to MRM 320 near Mount Vernon.

During this phase of construction, traffic will be switched head to head on June 12 in the west bound lanes and speeds will be reduced to 65 MPH.

Work is expected to be completed by October 29.

The Prime Contractor is Knife River Midwest, LLC of Sioux City, IA.
