PLAY IN THE PAST AT THE SIOUXLAND RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL
Come and gather ye Lords and Ladies! Chivalry reigns and adventure lives at the second annual Siouxland Renaissance Festival, June 7-8 in Sioux Falls. Become part of the fantasy and magic, when kings and queens ruled the land and the arts flourished. The festival is Saturday, June 7, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday, June 8, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
The event celebrates the Renaissance era, complete with period food, entertainment and jousting competitions. Jugglers and tumblers amuse. Minstrels marvel. Swordsmen and jousters thrill. Entertainers include Clann Tartan, Jordan the Juggler, William and Blackjack and many more. Shop the marketplace for a wide variety of 16th century arts, crafts and food.
A one-day pass for the event is $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and children. A two-day pass is $10 for adults and $7 for seniors and children. There is also a $1 discount for wearing Renaissance-period attire.
