Travelers looking for romance can head to the South Dakota Department of Tourism’s Web site. Now through June 30, travelsd.com features romantic vacation packages in locations across the state.

"These packages appeal to travelers because they make vacation planning easy. They combine lodging and activities in one package, at one price," said Patricia Van Gerpen, secretary of the South Dakota Department of Tourism.

The packages range from cozy B&B stays to hotel whirlpool suites, coupled with activities such as comedy club tickets, intimate dinners and champagne in your room. Prices start at $99.

The Department of Tourism is promoting the romance packages via ads in magazines such as Ladies Home Journal, Better Homes and Gardens, and Parents, as well as newspaper ads and online banner ads.
