Monday-Friday, December 10-14 - Long-Term Care Partnership Program Education Sessions - The Department of Social Services is offering public education sessions to inform and educate individuals on the Long-Term Care Partnership Program. Stop by any of the below locations during the designated time to find out more about long-term care, the costs related to it, what Medicare and Medicaid will cover and how the Long-Term Care Partnership Program can help. The education sessions are free and open to the public. Each session is scheduled for one hour.
SIOUX FALLS: Monday, December 10, 2007

Tuesday, December 11, Pierre, 10 a.m. (CST) – The Division of Developmental Disabilities will hold a public hearing on the adoption and amendment of proposed rules numbered: Chapter 46:10:05 and new chapter 46:10:07. Tuesday-Wednesday, December 11-12, Pierre, 1 p.m. (CST) – DENR staff will attend a Missouri River Association of States and Tribes (MoRAST) meeting at the Ramkota Hotel in Pierre. MoRAST is an organization of Missouri River states and tribes that works with the Corps of Engineers on Missouri River management issues. The council will review workforce projections, discuss the technology environment in education, and consider indicators to measure educational success.
