GIS forum slated for Pierre

PIERRE, S.D. – A state Geographic Information System (GIS) forum is being hosted by the state Bureau of Information and Telecommunications on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at the Ramkota Inn in Pierre.

The program is free and runs from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. A variety of GIS-related topics will be covered.

“We have created a meaningful program to present to GIS users throughout the state,” said Stephen Daw, state GIS coordinator and one of the organizers and presenters.
