TMone Cuts Ribbon, Launches with 60 Jobs
SPEARFISH, S.D. –TMone, one of the Black Hills’ newest corporate citizens, celebrated the official opening of its Spearfish office today with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
TMone is an Iowa-based, business-process outsourcing firm that supports Fortune 1000 companies with sales, customer relationship management and customer service selling. At its Spearfish contact center, TMone provides two Fortune 500 clients with innovative business and consumer call center outsourcing. TMone has already hired 60 people for its Spearfish operation and expects to double its operation by this coming spring.
Anthony Marlowe, TMone President said that South Dakota’s talent pool and business climate are a huge win for TMone customers.
“TMone’s acquisition of the 534-seat turn-key facility, its access to talented human capital, and South Dakota’s low-tax environment were all critical enablers. These resources have decreased business costs for TMone clients, and on weekly basis has prospective new clients asking for more information,” said Marlowe.
In early August, TMone announced it would lease the former Premier Bankcard building in Spearfish.
South Dakota Lt. Gov. Matt Michels spoke at today’s ribbon-cutting ceremony. He thanked TMone for their investment in South Dakota, and he said news about TMone locating in Spearfish has helped buoy the local economy.
“TMone announced its plans to open a contact center in Spearfish just after Premier Bankcard completed the closing of its operation in Spearfish,” Michels said. “TMone brought jobs and investment when the community needed it most.”
Bryan Walker, Executive Director of the Spearfish Economic Development Corporation, echoed Michels’ comments.
“TMone has already proved itself as an excellent corporate citizen, providing solid job opportunities for people in Spearfish. We’re extremely pleased to have TMone in Spearfish and look forward to the company’s continued growth here,” said Walker.
The South Dakota Governor’s Office of Economic Development and the Spearfish Economic Development Corporation worked together to recruit TMone to Spearfish.
