North Sioux City Death Investigation Complete

PIERRE, S.D.  – South Dakoat Attorney General Marty Jackley and Union County States Attorney Jerry Miller advised today that the investigation into the death of April M. Simmons, 27, Frankfort, who was found dead on December 5, 2011, in North Sioux City, is complete.

The cause of death has been determined as accidental with contributing factors of elevated bupropion levels and injuries sustained due to fall.

Agencies assisting in this investigation were the North Sioux City Police Department, Union County Sheriff’s Office and the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation.
