              Roberts County Fatal Crash

What: One-vehicle fatal crash

When: Sunday, June 3, 9:05 p. m.

Where: 107^th St. east of 451^st Ave., about six miles southeast of Veblen, SD

Driver: Jared Marshall Goodsell, 33, Sisseton, SD, fatal

Vehicle: 2001 Chevrolet CK159

VEBLEN, S.D. – A Sisseton, S.D., man died in a one-vehicle crash Sunday, June 3, on 107^th Street about six miles southeast of Veblen.

Jared Marshall Goodsell, 33, was driving a 2001 Chevrolet CK159 eastbound on the gravel road. He lost control and went off the roadway. The vehicle rolled and hit a power pole. Goodsell, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the vehicle. He was taken to a Sisseton hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating. Roberts County Sheriff’s Office, Claire City Fire Department and Grant/Roberts Ambulance assisted.
