Tuesday, April 2, through Wednesday, April 3 – The South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation will host Job Search Assistance Programs (JSAP). JSAP is a workshop for people recovering from job loss or enhancing their job search skills. Trained instructors speak on modern-day techniques used to successfully find employment. Topics covered are: resume and cover letter writing, interviewing etiquette, networking effectively, using social media and much more. JSAP will be offered at the following locations:

Tuesday-Thursday, April 2-4, Aberdeen – The South Dakota Board of Regents will meet on the campus of Northern State University for its regular business meeting. Executive sessions begin Tuesday at 6 p.m. and continue from 8 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. The regents’ business meeting convenes at 1:30 p.m. CDT Wednesday, April 3, in the Centennial Room (old addition) in the NSU Student Center.
