Hacksaw Jim Duggan Featured Wrestler at Men's Expo and 3X Live Pro Wrestling

HURON, S.D. -  The South Dakota State Fair announces that Hacksaw Jim Duggan will be the featured professional wrestler at the 3X Live Pro Wrestling event at the State Fairgrounds Expo Building.

The 3X Live Pro Wrestling event will be held at 7 p.m. CDT, Saturday, May 11, at the It’s a Guy Thing – Men’s Expo.

“Hacksaw” is most known for marching into the ring with a two-by-four slung over his shoulder and an American flag gripped tightly in his hand.  To intimidate his opponents, the true red-blooded American would get the crowd behind him by inspiring massive, rafter-shaking chants of "U.S.A.! U.S.A.!"  For more than two decades, "Hacksaw" defended America's honor in the ring and enjoyed distinction as one of the most recognizable pro wrestling superstars in the world.

In addition to Duggan, there will be nine to ten other wrestling matches, along with a women’s wrestling match featuring Angelus Layne and Miss Natural. 

Prior to the 3X Live Pro Wrestling, the It’s a Guy Thing – Men’s Expo will take place from 1-6 p.m. in the State Fairgrounds Family Living Center.

The Men’s Expo has several of the favorite competitions from last year coming back, in addition to a few new ones. Back by popular demand is the bean bag tournament, arm wrestling competition, hot dog eating and chin-up contest. New to the event this year is the paintball and mechanical bull riding competitions.

Tickets to both events went on sale Monday, April 8.  Several ticket options are available: Men’s Expo ticket only, combination ticket that includes Men’s Expo and 3X Live Pro Wrestling, 3X Live Pro Wrestling ticket only, and ringside VIP tickets that include admission into the Men’s Expo.  Tickets are sponsored by Anytime Fitness and are available to purchase at the Anytime Fitness location in Huron, as well as at the South Dakota State Fair Office on 3^rd St. and Nevada Ave.

The event is sponsored by the South Dakota State Fair, Performance Radio, Horizon Health Care, Daily Plainsman and James River Equipment.
