Tuesday, April 30, Ramkota/Discovery Center, Pierre – State Department of Environment and Natural Resources staff from the Geological Survey Program will present “Rocks and Minerals in Personal Care Products” at the “Women in Science” conference. Events will be held at both the Best Western - Ramkota Hotel and Convention Center and the Discovery Center. The conference aims to stimulate the interest of middle- and high school-age girls in math and science-related opportunities and careers.

Tuesday and Wednesday, Apr. 30-May 1, Oacoma – The South Dakota Department of Human Services’ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) joined the national State Employment Leadership Network (SELN) this year to improve employment outcomes for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
