Gov. Dennis Daugaard’s Public Appearances; Public Meetings:

 

Monday, Aug. 12, 2 p.m. CDT Gov. Dennis Daugaard will be the guest on KGFX Radio’s “South Dakota Perspective” show with Jeri Thomas.

 

Friday, Aug. 16, Aberdeen – Aberdeen will be South Dakota’s Capital for a Day. Activities for the day include a main street walk, tours around town, meetings and a fair walk. Citizens are encouraged to attend the community roundtable meeting to discuss workforce, recruitment and training. This will be held at the Brown County Fairgrounds Clubhouse from 1 – 2 p.m. CDT. First Lady Linda Daugaard will be at the Alexander Mitchell Public Library at 1 p.m. for story time. The day concludes with a fair walk at 2:00 p.m., where constituents can talk with Gov. Dennis Daugaard.

Tuesday, Aug. 13, to Thursday, Aug. 15, Sioux Falls – The South Dakota Board of Regents will meet at the Ramkota Hotel for its annual planning session and regular business meeting. Executive sessions begin Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. CDT and continue Wednesday from 8 to 9 a.m. and again from noon to 1:30 p.m. The regents’ planning session begins at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, in the Jefferson Room of the Ramkota Hotel. The business meeting convenes immediately following conclusion of the planning session Thursday morning, Aug. 15, also in the Jefferson Room.
