Highway 16B and Cheyenne Boulevard Intersection

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Crews will begin concrete work at the Highway 16B/Cheyenne Boulevard intersection near Rapid City beginning Friday, Sept. 6, according to the South Dakota Department of Transportation.

Lane closures will be in place at the Highway 16B/Cheyenne Boulevard intersection to complete this work, with two-way traffic maintained on Cheyenne Boulevard. Due to limited work space, a left turn lane will not be maintained on Cheyenne Boulevard.

The concrete work is being done to improve the surfacing at the intersection on Cheyenne Boulevard.

R.C.S. Construction Inc. of Rapid City is the prime contractor on the $172,000 project that is expected to be complete by the end of September.
