Highway 10 Bridge Work

ABERDEEN, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation has begun structure repair work on two bridges on Highway 10 east of Leola.

The bridges are located one-and-a-half miles and six-and-a-half miles east of Leola.

Both bridges have been reduced to one lane with an 11-foot width restriction. Traffic is being controlled with stop signs at either end of the structures.

This work is part of a nearly $1 million contract with PCI Roads, LLC to do repair work on five bridges in the Aberdeen region.

The expected completion date for these two bridges is June 27, with an overall completion date of Oct. 10.
