Fall Programs Offered at Good Earth State Park
GOOD EARTH STATE PARK, S.D. – Programming at Good Earth State Park near Sioux Falls continues in September. Everyone is invited to learn more about South Dakota’s newest state park.
- Magnificent Mammals, Sept. 11, 11 a.m. CDT. Sizzling reds, muted grays, and glossy blacks are all in season and being showcased everyday by our furry mammals! Come discover this world of colorful magnificence brought to you by the trendy mammal residents at Good Earth State Park.
- Leave it to Beavers, Sept. 12, 6 p.m. CDT. Once valued for their fur or considered pests, these rodents can transform and revive landscapes.
- North American Salads, Sept. 13, 5 p.m. CDT. Learn about and enjoy delicious salads using foods native to North America.
- Star Party, Sept. 13, 7 p.m. CDT. Are you ready to party with the stars? Join the Tri-State Astronomical Society for a journey through the night sky where we will use telescopes to visit with the mysterious moon and shiny stars.
There is no cost to participate in these programs. A park entrance license is not required at Good Earth State Park.
