Tuesday, June 30, 8 a.m. MDT, Rapid City – Gov. Dennis Daugaard will be attending a major economic development announcement that will impact both Ellsworth Air Force Base and the Rapid City area as well as thesurrounding communities. Tuesday, June 30, 5 – 9 p.m. CDT, Yankton – Lt. Gov. Matt Michels will Emcee the Chamber of Commerce Ag Gala in Yankton.  Agriculture is the leading industry in the state of South Dakota, and plays a vital role in the Yankton economy. This annual Ag Gala is held in June to honor the agriculture industry. Each year during the event the Farm Family of the Year award is presented to a Yankton area family and P.A.Y. Scholarships are awarded to area youth (Promoting Agricultural Youth.) This event is sponsored by the Chamber’s
Agri-Business Committee.

Topics covered are: resume and cover letter writing, interviewing etiquette, networking effectively, using social media and much more. JSAP will be offered at 116 W.
