Tuesday, April 19, 10:30 a.m. CDT, Sioux Falls – Gov. Dennis Daugaard will attend and speak at the Foundation Park Groundbreaking Ceremony at Foundation Park, Sioux Falls.

 

Wednesday, April 20, 1 – 2 p.m. CDT, Brookings – Gov. Dennis Daugaard will recognize the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) cadets for their achievements at the Governor’s Day 2016 ceremony in Brookings on the SDSU Campus.

Thursday, April 21, 6:30 p.m. MDT, Deadwood – Along with the US Forest Service, the South Dakota Department of Agriculture’s Resource Conservation & Forestry Division will be hosting a workshop focusing on the benefits and methods of treating trees to protect them from MPB and managing forests to reduce the impacts of future MPB outbreaks. All landowners interested in protecting their pine trees are encouraged to attend. The workshop is being held at the Lodge at Deadwood.
