Name Released in Roberts County Fatal Crash
What: One-vehicle rollover
Where: 485th Avenue and 140th Street, four miles north of Summit, S.D.
When: 9:40 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2016
Driver: Justin Magnuson, 18, Sisseton, S.D., Fatal Injuries
Passengers: Female, 10, Sisseton, S.D., Serious Non-Life Threatening Injuries

Vehicle: 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier
SUMMIT, S.D. – Justin Magnuson, 18, of Sisseton, SD., has been identified as the person who died in a one-vehicle rollover that occurred Wednesday night north of Summit.
Magnuson was driving a1997 Chevrolet Cavalier northbound on 458th Avenue when he lost control of the car. The vehicle eventually went into the ditch and rolled. The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two female passengers, both age 10, each suffered serious non-life threatening injuries. Both were wearing seatbelts.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Other agencies on scene were the Roberts County Sheriff’s Office, Grant/Roberts Fire Department, Grant/Roberts Ambulance and Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Tribal Officers.
