Tuesday, May 8, 11:30 a.m. CDT, Sioux Falls – Gov. Dennis Daugaard will attend the Sioux Falls Convention & Visitor's Bureau Annual Luncheon at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.

 

Tuesday, May 8, 1:30 p.m. CDT, Sioux Falls, Sioux Falls Convention Center, Meeting Room 2 – Gov. Dennis Daugaard and Secretary of Tourism James Hagen will hold a news conference to recognize National Travel and Tourism Week and the impact of travel and tourism to South Dakota and the United States. The press conference will be held in Meeting Room 2 in the Sioux Falls Convention Center following the Sioux Falls Visitor Industry Luncheon.

 

Thursday, May 10, 1 – 3 p.m. EDT, Washington, D.C. Gov. Dennis Daugaard will attend and participate in the U.S Department of Labor Task Force on Apprenticeship Expansion.

 

Tuesday, May 8, to Thursday, May 10, Vermillion – The South Dakota Board of Regents will meet on the campus of the University of South Dakota for its regular business meeting. A joint meeting of the Board of Regents and the South Dakota Board of Education Standards begin at 2 p.m. (CDT) Tuesday, May 8. Executive sessions for the Board of Regents begin Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. and continue from 8 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. The regents’ business meeting reconvenes at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, in the Muenster University Center Ballroom on the USD campus.
