PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Veterans Affairs will expand their clean energy footprint by activating a 372.2Kw solar panel at the Michael J. Fitzmaurice State Veterans Home in Hot Springs on Wednesday, September 9, at 11:00 am (MT). 

 

WHAT: Solar Panels to be Activated at State Veterans Home

WHEN: Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at 11:00 am MT

WHERE: Flagpole Pavilion - Michael J. Fitzmaurice State Veterans Home Campus (2500 Minnekahta Avenue – Hot Springs)

ON SITE POINTS OF CONTACT: Tom Inman (State Veterans Home) and Trey Wammen and Molly Brown (GenPro)

 

Power generated by the solar system should provide half of the electrical load for the campus.  

 

System installed by GENPRO Energy based out of Piedmont.
