Name Released In Pennington County Fatal Crash

 

What:    Single Motorcycle Fatal Crash

Where:  Intersection of U.S. Highway 385 and Horse Creek Road

              32 miles west of Rapid City, S.D.

When:   12:34 p.m., Sunday, April 4, 2021

 

Driver: Anthony Robinson, Sr., 58, Rapid City, S.D., Fatal Injuries

Vehicle: 2014 Harley-Davidson Road King Motorcycle

 

RAPID CITY, S.D. – A Rapid City man has been identified as the person who died Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle crash west of Rapid City.

 

Preliminary crash information indicates a 2014 Harley-Davidson Road King motorcycle was southbound when the motorcycle went off the roadway and rolled.

 

Anthony Robinson, Sr., the 58-year-old driver, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.

 

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.

 

The Highway Patrol is part of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
