State prison inmate Jerald Brown back in custody

RAPID CITY, S.D.- A state prison inmate who failed to return to his assigned housing unit after a work release shift earlier this month is back in custody.

Inmate Jerald Brown was arrested Jan. 30 and is currently being held in the Pennington County Jail.

Brown left the Rapid City Community Work Center to go to his work release job Jan. 13 but failed to return to the Work Center at the appointed time.
