2025 Governor’s Ag Summit Registration Now Open

PIERRE, S.D. - Registration is now open for the 2025 Governor’s Agricultural Summit (Ag Summit) hosted by Governor Larry Rhoden. The Ag Summit will be a two-day event held June 17-18, 2025, in the historic Deadwood, South Dakota, at the Deadwood Mountain Grand.

“Ag is King in South Dakota! As a lifelong West River Rancher, I am deeply committed to ensuring that it thrives,” said Governor Rhoden. “I encourage all members of the ag community to join me in Deadwood for this year’s Ag Summit. Together, we will keep South Dakota agriculture Open for Opportunity!”

The Ag Summit is an opportunity for the ag community to connect, collaborate, and explore solutions to the challenges ahead. The two-day event includes a full day of presentations on June 17 and industry tours on June 18.

The Ag Summit’s agenda will include topics such as:

  • The State of Agriculture in 2025 – Insights from state and federal leaders on policy initiatives impacting the industry;
  • Ag Economics – Market trends and financial outlooks affecting producers;
  • Producer-Driven Solutions – Strategies and innovations led by producers to address industry challenges;
  • Forestry Management – Best practices and policy updates for sustainable land use;
  • Global Trade & Markets – The evolving landscape of international trade and its impact on South Dakota agriculture; and
