PIERRE, S.D.–On Monday, May 19, 2025, Built Right Construction & Roofing will resume the project started last summer to replace the Capitol Building roof.
“Due to several weather-related delays, Built Right was not able to complete the entire project last summer,” said BHRA Commissioner Darin Seeley. “With only the east wing remaining, we are hopeful the weather will cooperate, and it can be completed quickly.”
The contractor is mobilizing their materials and equipment starting today as they prepare to begin work on Monday. The Capitol north entrance will remain open during the entirety of this project.
