Gov. Rhoden to Visit Hot Springs on Open for Opportunity Tour

PIERRE, S.D. – Tomorrow, Governor Larry Rhoden will kick off another week on his Open for Opportunity tour by visiting Hot Springs.

Governor Rhoden is committed to building strong relationships with the people of South Dakota, so he encourages local leaders and community members to join him for coffee at Morning Sunshine at 10:30 am MT.

Governor Rhoden will also tour the Michael J. Fitzmaurice State Veterans Home. As Governor, his goal is to keep South Dakota strong, safe, and free – and that wouldn’t be possible without all of the brave men and women who have served our nation. He will be available for a briefing with media outside the Veterans Home following his tour.

Finally, Governor Rhoden will highlight our state’s thriving tourism industry by visiting the Mammoth Site, which boasts the largest concentration of mammoth remains in the world! Media is welcome to join this tour.
