Flags at Half-Staff at State Capitol in Honor of Lyle Mensch

PIERRE, S.D. – Today, Governor Larry Rhoden ordered that flags be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol from sunrise until sunset on Saturday, June 7, 2025, in honor of former state legislator Lyle Mensch. He represented Bon Homme County in the South Dakota State House of Representatives from 1973-1976.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held for former state legislator Lyle Mensch at 3:00 pm CT on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the shipping greenhouse, located on Ash Street in Avon.
