State prison offender Justin Copier has died of an apparent suicide.

Copier was found unresponsive in his cell at the Mike Durfee State Prison in Springfield on July 20^th. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Copier, age 25, was serving a sentence for aggravated assault from Moody County.
