State prison offender Larry Franklin has died.

Franklin, age 37, passed away at the Jameson Prison in Sioux Falls on November 27^th.

Franklin was serving sentences for aggravated assault and simple assault on law enforcement from Minnehaha County at the time of his death.

The Division of Criminal Investigation and the Department of Corrections Office of the Inspector General are investigating the death.
