Employers and Partners Invited to Apprenticeship Knowledge Series  

 

PIERRE, SD – The Department of Labor and Regulation invites employers, education partners, community stakeholders, and current registered apprenticeship sponsors to a free virtual Apprenticeship Knowledge Series in celebration of National Apprenticeship Week. 

 

The online session will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. CST / 10:30 a.m. MST via Microsoft Teams. 

 

Participants will hear from the Start Today SD team on how to showcase the value of Registered Apprenticeship Programs as a proven workforce solution. The session will highlight how apprenticeships expand opportunity, strengthen talent pipelines, and support individual career success.  

 

Attendees will also gain ideas for recognizing apprentices, promoting programs, and engaging in statewide activities, including the upcoming Apprenticeship Summit and apprentice graduate recognition.
