Attorney General Jackley Statement on

Sioux Falls Police Department Officer Injured in Shooting

PIERRE, S.D. – South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley issues this statement following Monday’s shooting of a Sioux Falls Police Officer during an incident in Sioux Falls. The officer was wounded while responding to a weapons violation call.

“My prayers are with the injured officer and his family,” said Attorney General Jackley. “This is a reminder of the dangers our law enforcement officers face each day protecting us.”
