Gov. Rhoden to Announce Apprenticeship Opportunity

PIERRE, S.D. – Tomorrow, Governor Larry Rhoden will make an announcement involving the expansion of apprenticeship opportunities at the South Dakota Start Today Apprenticeship Summit.

The Summit is a celebration of the achievements and impact of the Registered Apprenticeship Program, and it will feature a graduation ceremony, awards, and several speakers. The Summit will take place at the Sioux Falls Convention Center, 1201 N West Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD 57104 on Thursday, April 30, 2026, beginning at 2:00 pm CT/1:00 pm MT.

Prior to the ceremony, Governor Rhoden will walk through the event showcase booths and simulators. Media that wish to view the showcase can arrive at 1:30 pm CT/12:30 pm MT.
