Flags at Half-Staff at State Capitol in Honor of Chip Campbell

PIERRE, S.D. – Today, Governor Larry Rhoden ordered that flags be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol from sunrise until sunset on Thursday, September 3, 2026, in honor of former state legislator Blaine "Chip" Campbell. He served in the South Dakota House of Representatives from 2013 until 2018.

A funeral service will be held at 12 pm MT on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2822 Canyon Lake Drive, Rapid City, SD 557702.
